BLOGtober day 4 // RE-READS

One of my favorite excuses for bundling up in a snuggly blanket with a cup of coffee is to finish off a good book. I don’t know what it is about Fall, but I am ALWAYS in the mood to read during this season!

I decided I want to re-read and indulge myself in a few of my all time favorite literature by the end of 2018.

End of 2018 Re-read List

All the Bright Places – Jennifer Niven

One of the BEST books I have ever read. It focuses on characters with mental illness and brings to light the thoughts and interpretations by those people effected by it. Make sure you have this on your to read list, seriously.

Wonder – R.J. Palacio

A new classic. Such a heart warming, touching story told mainly by a child with a birth defect. You will cry, but you will LOVE it.

Looking for Alaska – John Green

Another beautiful story about teens finding their way. I read this in high school and could NOT put it down. I need to divulge into this one so I can remember the magic I felt from reading it.

A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose : Eckhart Tolle

A perfect book to finish off the year. Every time I read this I find something new to take away from it. So much information in such a personal way. Eckhart Tolle writes beautifully about the transformative spirit.

*BONUS* (if there is still time after this list, lol):

Uglies Series – Scott Westerfeld

Literally the first series I’ve ever loved. This is more of a futuristic fantasy type, but such a complex, fun read. Also a must read series to add to your list.

What is your number one must read to get to before 2018 ends?

with all the love and positive vibrations sent your way,

takayl, bona fide
